Action! doesn't show video in Sony Vegas

Some months ago Action! started making mp4s that no longer worked with Sony Vegas. I deleted a lot of footage because of this but I found a solution later. The issue is that the container Action is making is not compatible with Sony Vegas. However, in the past, all these video files worked perfectly.

Also my system specs are:
Win 10 pro x64 (also same problem on Win 8 pro x64)
AMD CPU and GPU

This happens whether it is CPU or GPU encoding.

I hade the same problem, and so does many other it seems. Are you trying to record multiple audio streams? That was the issue for me. Vegas only seems to parse the first two streams in a file.

The fix was to switch out the dll that was parsing the .mp4 files in vegas (I think to qt7plug.dll?). Anyways, I'll try to look up the exact fix when I get home tonight.

The issue happens for me when I record microphone into separate audio track.

Had no response. It's a GLARING issue. I've stopped using Mirillis Action because of this. I've tried other programs, and Bandicam offers the same feature set, while still importing the MP4 video. So I'm using that and ShadowPlay until Mirillis gets their sh*t together and addresses this somehow.

I also ended up buying Bandicam when Action! failed me with some other stuff. Too bad, I really like ctrl+delete for making frag movies.

This "fix" isn't really a fix, it's merely a workaround to a problem that was implemented in later versions of Action. Action! is at fault here. We already established what the issue is, Mirillis just has to fix it in a future update.

The problem would, first, need to be acknowledged. So far Action! has not even acknowledged that this problem exists for a time period that's approaching three months from the first user report.

Much appreciated. However, I hope this time it's different. The same was said whenever I sent an email to the support team back when I posted that thread. Since then there has been roughly 6 updates, all of which never included a fix.
