What Parts should I Upgrade to get Better FPS While Recordin

Fri Sep 18, 2015 6:33 am

Exactly what the title says. What computer parts do I have to upgrade to get better FPS while recording. Here are my current specs:

Video Settings: http://prntscr.com/88w47d
Settings Tab Recording: http://prntscr.com/88w4il
Specs + OS: http://prntscr.com/88w4qs
Monitor: http://prntscr.com/88w97u

For some reason whenever I am not recording I get 300+ FPS on any game on high settings, but as soon as I start recording, I immediately drop to 65FPS stable. Both in-game FPS and recording FPS are 65 stable. It does not matter if I am recording at 30,60 or 120FPS on Action, I always get Stable 65 FPS in-game. See previous post: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=37688

Anyways, I would really appreciate help. Thanks

Hi,

im not that hardware geek but Ill try :)

Your CPU is ok, ive an 8350 and also 8gb ram.
In my pc I use a gtx 670 at a 1680x1050 monitor, do you really need 120 fps? I dont know a video platform which supports higher then 60.
The system usage depends on the game, but avi is processed in the cpu part, maybe you could upgrade this.
You only need to upgrade your gpu if your game laggs (with and without recording), also this depends on your needs.
Hope I was able to help a bit
