How do I record 1920x1080 on a 2560x1080 monitor?

I just got a new 2560x1080 LG ultrawide monitor, and I used to record 1920x1080p videos daily for youtube (games and also desktop capture for photoshop tutorials), so how do I do that now on this new monitor?

I tried setting the monitors resolution to 1920x1080p temporarily to record, but for some odd reason action still records the black bars on the sides if I do that

How do I make action record only exactly 1920x1080p on this new monitor?, with no need for post edit cropping or stretching the video etc

I think it's not possible. 2560x1080 is a 21:9 aspect ratio. Standard ratio is 16:9. That's why your video has black bars.
