PC Specification: AMD Athlon II X2 250 3GHz, Gt 430, win7

Cant record game with action

I wanted to record Spider man the movie for pc with action, but it doesn't work. Hud is visible, but when i press record key nothing happens i don't know why. Game is in direct x 8.
