How to record videos to network drive?

Mon Aug 29, 2016 11:27 am

Hello!

There are problems with writing recorded video files to network drive:

1) its not possible to select any network path in the GUI
2) after mapping network location to a drive letter it is still not possible to select this drive from GUI
3) closing program and editing registry entry in HKCU\Software\Mirillis\Action leads to error "Please select different recording folder"
4) creating a symbolic link (via mklink /D) on local drive and selecting this link folder in GUI leads to the same error

After mapping drive or using symbolic link all other applications can read and write files from the network location, only Action is not working.

So the question is: how to force writing video files to network path?

I remember that 3) with registry editing worked to me some time ago, but it doesn't work anymore.

P.S. all problems are reproduced on versions 1.31.5 and 1.25.6

So is there any way to record video on network drive?
Why none of the above approaches work for me?
