4.0.4 MP4 does not work in windows 8.1
When recording the game or the screen, it displays it in Green

thank you for contacting us. Please provide us more information about your problem:
Details about recording settings
Does problem occurs both for AVI and MP4 recordings?
Does it occur for every game or only for a 1 title or a few?
Does problem occurs when recording to lower resolution (480p)?
Does it occurs when recording in lower fps (30p)?
Does it occur when recording Windows desktop?

I have checked all your questions. On Windows 10 all works fine. On Windows 8.1 AVI also works fine, but MP4 only works when disabling the hardware acceleration. No matter the resolution, no matter the fps, the AMD AMF just does not work.
I have a ATI Radeon HD 7970

Please provide us your PC DxDiag report. It will help us investigate your problem.
To run a dxdiag report follow the steps below:

If you are running Windows Vista or higher go to your task bar.
Click on, "Start Button".
Click on, "Run".
In the pop-up window enter dxdiag and hit ok.
The DirectX Diagnostic Tool pop-up window should appear.
Click on, "Save all information tab".
"Save As" window should be present.
Click on, "Save" (The file should be saved to your desktop as dxdiag)
Close the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

Attach generated txt file to your reply.
