System Freezes when switching to second screen display recording

Wed Jun 19, 2024 4:22 pm

Just like it says, when I try to use display screen as the recording area, the moment I pick the second monitor from the drop-down, it completely freezes my entire PC. My mouse can still move around, but everything else just freezes. It won't come out of it no matter how long I wait. Even hitting alt+F4 or any other hotkey doesn't do anything. ctl+alt+del doesn't even work.

Can someone help me. This program use to be great, but lately it is not working well at all.

Here is my dxdiag info. I had to zip it as you don't allow standard txt files.

So when you switch from your 3440x1440 monitor to 1080p monitor the problem occurs?
It is happening without recording, right?
Does the same happen if you use F8 hotkey to switch between displays?
