Game/App Problem: Rigs of Rods
Error Type: Recordings are dark
Description: Rigs of Rods is known for bad lightning but for some time I could add the NVIDIA filter in-game and record like that. Right now i have the issue that after a reinstall of the GPU drivers all my recordings with Action! are dark even if I record with the NVIDIA filter on the exported video is dark on the Action! player. I tried recording with the NVIDIA tool and it records as it is in-game. I updated Action! to the latest version but that was not the issue as it's still happening.

In your case Action! captures the picture of a game before filters are added. You can try using Screen recording mode or Window recording mode.

Looks like Action! is hooking before the NVIDIA filter gets applied, so Game mode won’t capture the final image. Did you try switching to Screen mode and also checking HDR or color range settings in both Action! and NVIDIA control panel?
