add or edit
SET maxFPS "60"
SET maxFPSbk "30" (or try at 60, but i recommend 30)
Gonna give it a go tonight and see if it makes a difference with either.

I am getting the stuttering too, in more games than just WOW, to varying but noticable degrees, when using Intel QuickSync and recording at 1080p 30fps. I do not get a stutter when recording with the software mode, even at 1080p 30fps. Setting Action's process priority to Below Normal does not fix it. I have a Core i5 2500K and GeForce 560Ti.

The biggest stutter I get is in Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed so far

Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed SMOOTH - this is what it is supposed to look like, it's much smoother

Is QuickSync just not fast enough?

Not yet. The lab folks were not able to reproduce this issue.

Latest video I recorded last night...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9HKez-kBss

If you look at it closely, there are micro-stutters here and there, not 100% fluid. It's not as huge as it was on the first video I uploaded, but still not "perfect". Still hope something will be discovered about that.

Yeah same here DIGG, since people want to record in game and sometimes you just can't afford to play with stutter, its a real shame but at the moment I'm forced to use other recording softwares.

Have you tried recording into lower resolution? 720p for example?

It has been over a month since people started to report the Stutter/lag spikes problem. Any update at all? Would love to be able to use this program fully, feels like a waste otherwise :/
