Huge problem

Sat May 12, 2012 5:37 pm

This software is starting to piss me of. It's ok that if I record in 30 fps the result video stutters like hell, (I mean it's not ok, but I accepted that) but if i record it in 60 fps the export "procedure" makes it 30 fps again, which stutters like shit too. (The raw fic file is fine) Cant believe that i cant make a normal recording with this, i even tried splash pro ex's export, and the result is the same, it downgrades it to 30fps...

Take a look at this, i recorded it at 60 fps (without action i have 100+, so it's not a problem) but after export it's like this. It looks like if i drank two pints of beer.

And seriously: Who cares about The Adventures of Tintin, and why do you even work on these kind of nonsense fixes, when you still have HUGE deficiencies. For instance, the steam overlay still doesnt work in a lot of games (CS:S, Operation Flashpoint Red River etc.), the recording stutters like hell, exporting in High Profile uses ONE CPU core only, the cursor has a massive latency in a lot of non-game applications etc. I really like(d) this application, but these minor nerve-racking problems kill the advantage of it over fraps. I used it since it's release, even advertised it on the top of my channel, but I'm really starting to think about going back to fraps.

I found out that only non-Mirillis players cant play it normally, so I bet that action's (and Splash Pro EX'S) export messes up the timecodes. (Or the whole video is wrong, because i can only play the FIC files with Mirellis players, so they are smooth) VLC, WMP, and youtube plays it at 30 fps (the originally 60 fps video) and they stutter but Splash plays it at 60 fps, and it is smooth.

A major improve about mouse latency in the cursor movement will come with next update next week. About your issue with playback. Before exporting set the Video Quality in Normal and Output profile choose Auto or 720p HP or MP (from the list).

And about Tintin fix, it may affect another games with similar issues so that's is why also taking care of games like Tintin.
