editing Action! output

Sun May 20, 2012 7:05 pm

If you don't release an FIC codec to use outside Action! could you at least use an AVC encoder that is iFrame compatible? My Canon digital camera outputs AVC that is entirely i frames and is a breeze to edit in even the most basic editor(s) like AVIDeMux. If you added the ability to easily edit the output this program would be much better.

We are working on our own solution that will allow Action! users to open .fic files in another software dedicated for editing videos. We will release a dedicated codec for .fic files that allows to open raw Action! files in every application which support DirectShow.

Hello,

Good news ! Plugin to integrate FIC format in Premiere Pro or Vegas is highly expected !

Can you tell us the approximate time of its release ?
Is there already an alpha or beta to test it ?
Do you sell or provide it for free?

Thanks for your works.
