Conflict between Action! and d3d9.dll

Fri Jun 01, 2012 10:46 am

Hi,

some games can use plugins using a d3d9.dll in mainfolder of the game. In combination with Action! the game crashes, without Action running in background, the game works perfect with the dll. Otherwise Action works if i delete the d3d9.dll from Mainfolder.

The games support multiple d3d9.dll´s renaming them to d3d9_2.dll, d3d9_3.dll and so on. So maybe Action should check if there is another .dll and adapt to the situation. But i don´t no how the program works and i am not a programmer... ;)

For more Details or some Test i am available.

I would also like to register this problem.

Any game I run with d3d9.dll graphics/ effects (post-processing) running will crash when Action! is loaded.
Action!'s main competitor FRAPPs does not have this problem.

My trial period for Action! is now complete. I await further news on the resolution to this issue, at which point I would certainly buy a copy of Action!.
