Action 1.6

Tue Jul 17, 2012 5:21 pm

Hey guys, I've just this second installed the Action trial and was wondering if there are any guides on how to use 1.6.0, I did trial 1.5 out for a while until the trial expired but my issue with 1.5.0 was that it doesn't detect FXAA injector in Battlefield 3.

I noticed the changelog mentions AVI recording but I'm having difficulty finding this option, I also notice that Action 1.6.0 has a habit of exporting files but only half complete, i.e will export the first minute or so of the video but refuses to export anything over that and it's really funny but every time I export a video it's ALWAYS 57mb and refuses to play in any media player ( VLC/Media Player Classic/itunes/WMP 12) ( unless it's a trial limitation but I don't recall seeing any time limitation on older trials )

I also noticed that any video's recorded on older versions of Action will not export properly, Is this something you guys here at Mirillis are aware of?

And has Action been patched to pick up games that use the FXAA injector?

Action 1.6.0 records directly to .avi format by default. FIC format is no longer available from version 1.6.0.

About FXAA injector and other graphic mods. Action! has not been adapted to them yet, we are working on this.

about the avi files.
they weight just like the fic files?
and when you are recording the avi files takes from the system a limited amount of power just like the fic files?
when you are exporting a video he will be in mp4 format and weight a lot less then the avi file right?

Everything stays the same like in .fic just the container changes (to .avi). Rest is same as before.
