In 1.6.1, it isn't completely fixed.
Stuttering simply decreased.
Stuttering(games also stuttering in this case with action recording at 30fps) very often occurs(even at record in SD with 30fps) during fps falling from 60 to 55/50/40 and etc.. In most cases when fps strongly varies.
Fraps in this case limits fps(15,30,50,60) to avoid such problems.
With Playclaw v3, in this case i can choose factors x1(if recoding at 30 fps, 30 fps will be limit),x2(if recoding at 30 fps, 60 fps will be limit),x3,x4 for fps limit.

Does the problem appear also when you record in 60p ?

Does the problem appear also when you record in 60p ?
Almost smooth.
When fps becomes less than 60, action simply accelerates speed of game to 60(probably do not have enough video card performance for 60fps record).
But i use 4xMSAA antialiasing.
In heavy places, there are much less stutters than with 30 fps record.
Without AA, was a little bit better, but almost the same result(sli on/off, no difference)..
Tried Fraps recording at 30 fps and high load (4xMSAA and 2xSGSSA), no problem - stable 30 fps.
Tried 4xMSAA and 2xSGSSA antialiasing with action(at 30 fps) - lags become even more.
Most likely a bug in action, maybe.

Thanks for the feedback. We will try to reproduce it in our labs and see what may be causing this issue.

Here compare Action 1.7.0 with Fraps 3.5.6, on my home computer(much weaker), Core i7 875k, GTS 450, 8gb RAM.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ndzg3cwL7aI

Much better on low/mid-end hardware than fraps, but little worse on high-end(that PC that is specified in a profile).
Small lags remained in target video(my working and home computers), but lags during record in game(record at 30fps and lower), disappeared completely.
By the way, thanks for update, record became much better.

I'm lagging too, whenever I try to record, it goes to 8fps, on windows 7, it was fine but I don't think that is the problem because I used the windows 7 Action! settings after I upgraded to windows 10, but it worked the same as 8fps. I have plenty of space on my laptop. (around 550gbs) I can give you guys links for the difference in the videos I have recorded in the past in windows 7 and the future in windows 10. Windows 10 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvWWhDRIk1I
Windows 7 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Q7iseNwNls
Now I'm not saying its windows 10's fault, but I don't know what happened to my frames for when I record...
If someone could help me fix this or help, it would be appreciated. Regards - Zapar89
