Wed Aug 01, 2012 4:16 am

I downloaded the free trial and it seemed to work, is that how we are supposed to do it?

If you have Action! installed before, you should get cloud-info box near system tray that new version is available for download. Check also if you have ticked "Check for updates" box.

I did have the option checked, I read that there was the update. Perhaps I never gave it enough time to detect an update. Will there be an issue with the way I did it? It does still show it licensed to me.

Well, you can just download the 1.7.0 from our official webiste and install it. It will automatically uninstall previous version and install new, but I'm sure you will have to re-type your activation key again so make sure you have it under your ctrl+c so you can easily paste it into activation window.

I just installed the upgrade from the download and it didn't ask for my key.
