Hello people! First, i'd like to say that im turkish so my english is not that great. Sorry for that.

And i need ask you some questions. my screen resolution is 1440x900. and i want to record a game. i have full mirillis. but which record options should i set before recording? and what export options should i use while converting them to the mp4 format? whenever i upload a video to youtube, i get those black spaces around the corners. i just can't make videos like mirillis shows at their tutorials. thanks...

It's caused by your resolution which is 16:10 while YouTube is correctly (without black borders) playing only 16:9.

You can record at original resolution and edit it. You can cut fragments or stretch it to 16:9.

No, Youtube only allows 4:3 to 16:9 change. You can try VirtualDub (scrap, but free).

Hi, i got simillar problem. Could you include "aspect-raio" on/off for new versions ? Since even when i pick 1280x720 for youtube instead of 1280x800 i still get the aspect ratio with black stripes.

Sooooo , adding aspect ratio - on/ off could save the day !
