Looks very interesting :)
Action! records videos in its own format called FIC. This is highly optimized codec for games and desktop recordings.
A couple of questions:
Is it lossless format?
Will you provide DirectShow or VFW decoder, so it would be possible to work with such video in any application, without quality loss?

That does seem very interesting, is similar to the program Fraps.
But this product no longer supports Windows XP? :?:

Will it support recording pictures and video in stereoscopic 3D? Looks like another great product.

I would not bother to post questions here as no one from Mirillis will respond to you.

FICV is a lossy format, it provides high bitrate high quality image,
it could be considered as nearly loseless but it is still lossy.
Will post some samples soon with raw and compressed image for comparison.

We plan to introduce lossy codec too but this is for future plans as FICV lossy should
meet requirements of majority of users. DS decoder will be not avaialble at the start but it is definately included in our plans. We are aware that some users need to process the video in some other software later, and prefer
processing raw loseless video without exporting to H.264.

Xp is not supported, at least in first versions.

Stereoscopic 3d recording of games, photos and videos in included in our plans for future versions.
At the start this will be not available, and it is not defined if it will be available in free updates or in next Action! 2.0 version.

Yes, we will post some detailed results when beta version of Action! will be ready. In the meantime will try to post some short info from time to time.

Example test: recording desktop (moving, resizing, minimizing, mximizing windows).
Resolution 1680x1050 @60fps.

Fraps: recording time 12s, output filesize: 368 MB
Action!: recording time 10s, output filesize: 19 MB

Oh
Would you compare it with Camtasia Studio too?
