Hi there guys,
I have just brought Action, and i can record my gaming, now what im having trouble is that i am on skype with a friend so we both can commentate! now when i play it back after recording you can hear the game sound and my friend talking but you can not hear myself at all! now i have a condenser microphone plugged into a mixer which is plugged into my computer and i use it through, either Line In or Stereo Mix. now when i select these inputs for my mic you can still not hear me! :( i really need to figure this out.
Can you please Help?

Thanks Carl.
P.S sorry if i don't make much sense!

Hoorah! Someone with the exact same problem as me! I don't have a solution yet, but see my thread: http://www.mirillis.com/forum/viewtopic ... 36&t=23785

My setup is pretty much identical. Condenser mic going through a mixer into my ASUS Xonar Essence ST sound card via line-in. FRAPS can capture the line-in signal fine, but Action! simply.. refuses to do so. I've tried almost every combination of mic setting I can think of with it, and still nothing. Hope reading over my thread somehow gives you an idea we can both try, because I'm completely clueless.

Edit: The fact we're both having this same problem suggests to me it's nothing more than a bug in Action! with capturing line-in inputs, but we'll have to wait and see about that.

In the audio settings in Action I had to adjust the audio balance to 98 on the microphone and only 2 for the system sounds. This seems to roughly balance their loudness on my system. No idea why it is so lopsided, but at the default settings I couldn't really hear my mic at all in the recordings.

I'll give that a try, actually. I don't hold out much hope though, given that applying +300dB gain to the audio track, and it's still nothing, as shown here. I'll post back in a bit with any results!
