My Action does not launch

Hi,
First of all, I downloaded the free trial of Action! on my HP Pavilion dv6 with windows 7 and it worked perfectly well. Now that I want to download the free trial on my HP a6736fr with Windows Vista, it doesn't work.

First, it said that some extensions of the application where missing. Failing to get them, I decided to re-install Action on my Pavilion, and to put it on my a6736 with all the extensions... But when I try to launch it (double click on the "Application" file) it simply does not lauch. It asks for the administrator password, so I put it, but then... nothing. :(

So, if anybody had an idea of how to do this I would really be grateful because it's really, REALLY annoying me. :evil: :cry:

I was thinking of buying it but now, I don't know anymore. :?

Be sure you have admin rights to the user. I think're using guest account ..disable uac (User Account Control).

If you have admin rights, you will not ask you the password.

Right-click the shortcut icon (Mirillis Action)>Click on properties > Click on Advanced > Choose Run as administrator. I hope that helps.

Try reinstalling it and cleaning the registry file.

Hello, I have the same issue. Application crashes at start. I have tried to uninstall and clean the registery but it does nothing.

As you can see the error occurs on X86 and X64 files. As my system is a 64bit Windows 7 Sp1 I didn't expected it to launch the x86 binaries of the software...
I'm looking forward for a better solution :(

When you run Action! you should have 3 processes in your task manager:
Action.exe
Action_x64.bin
Action_x86.bin

If you have more than 3 end them all via taska manger and try running your Action! application again.

Noep, they all start (Action.exe, X86 and X64) but few seconds later stops working (crashes) without notices.

I've installed it on my other computer and it works fine (even if the launch takes a while).

how comes there was never a solution posted? i got the same problem and can't seam to fix it, reinstallingm cleaning reg doesn't work.

i got the 3 processes running but instand of Action.exe i got Action_svc.exe

I have also same problem I have windows 10 64 bit disabled uac, firewall, antivirus , clean install windows or mirillis , tried a lot of ways but couldnt start only in safe mode but doesnt work in normal even latest version
