Almost, but still a question

Tempted to buy this software, but i noticed it wont give you like a lifetime version, but instead bring out yearly versions that cost money.

I was wondering.. any estimates on how much money upgrading one version to the next will cost?

We are not planning to release Action! 2.0 in near future. Once you purchase your Action! copy within current main (1.x.x) version (1.13.0) you are entitled to free updates within your main version (i.e. to 1.14.0 and future updates till 1.99.99). As for the upgrade price, probably we will use the same upgrade policy as currently for our Splash players.

What policies apply for Splash and how much is it the upgrade price? Just so I get a general idea.
