Exported video's in slomotion

Sat Nov 19, 2011 11:58 am

I tried the trail version of Action (Version 1.0.1 and 1.1.0). And the program works very well. But when I try to export a video file, the new file that is created play's in slow motion. And when I try to import the video file into Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, Premiere Pro crashes.

Does anyone have the same problem?

Does it play in slow motion in all players, also with Splash?
Do you experinece this problems with slomotion with all exported files?
Does it also happen if you record soemthing in lower resolution 720p or 480p?

For premiere and other software we plan to add DirectShow filter or export to avi.
Soon we should publish more information.

I have the same problem.

Every time I try to convert recorded desktop video with framerate that is less than original (who needs 60fps in video files?) - I get slow-motion result.

You can download an example of it here: http://bit.ly/tCEp1r (14mb, Google host)

By the way, when I try to convert gaming video with 30fps settings - I don't get any sound at all.

In all cases original Action! .fic file plays well inside the program. Problems only appear when converting videos with framerate lower than 60.

The .fic files play just fine. But when the I try to play an exported video file in windows media player it plays in slow motion.
I tried the following export settings: auto, 1080p (main), 1080p (high). Did not try any of the lower settings yet. I also noticed when I'm using the auto setting, that the encoder only uses one cpu core (or at least encodes very slow). When I use the 1080p(main/high) setting it uses all my cpu cores.

I recorded the video's with 60fps.

Raptor650: Do you experience the problem with version 1.2.0?
