LA Noire - anyone?

Having trouble recording LA Noire... this is the up to date steam version and latest version of Action. The HUD never pops up, so Action doesn't seem to be recognizing the game is running. Also tried the android app, it also never notices the game is running. I tried both DirectX 9 and 11 modes in the game.

Anyone had success recently recording this game?

I don't have that game, so I cannot directly answer your question. But... when I play *any* games in windowed fullscreen and record the desktop, I'm able to record games as if I was recording in "game mode" within Action!. Can you try setting up LA Noire to be in windowed mode?

Thanks for the tip, I googled and found it does have a windowed option, however it leaves an annoying window border at top/bottom. Still would prefer to play in normal fullscreen mode if I could get Action to work correctly with this game.

Ok, so you're unable to play windowed YET fullscreen? This is sad.

I can play it windowed it seems to run fine in either mode. It's just Action won't bring up the HUD when I play fullscreen. If I leave it in desktop recording mode and play windowed it will record fine. Just an annoying window border is onscreen around the game while playing.
