slight micro-stutter / judder @ 30 fps recording

I've been experimenting a lot with Action to get the best gameplay and video recording, yesterday i succeeded in finding that 1080p30 is the best for me...
however !!
When i play in 2560x1440 i get micro-stutter or judder ... but if i play in 1920x1080 i dont.
- 1920x1080 is not an option for me, because it makes the games look ugly, and there are many more issues with that resolution...
I think its the scaler/scaling that causes this problem ???
I hope you can look into what might cause the problem
hardware: Core i7 3770k, ATI 7970, 16 GB RAM, SSD for recording.
Game settings: Vsync OFF (getting 50-80 fps)
Action Settings: QuickSync, 1080p 30 fps, High-quality setting.
