Hi,

Problem : Asus ux32vd i7 (hd 4000) and discrete nvidia GT 620m

HDMI plugged in. Video software working only with nvidia GPU forced and running on the lcd through HDMI. If i set Action to record a region of the lcd screen it records only my laptop display. Is it because the lcd through HDMI can use only the nvidia GPU so not able to record using quicksync ?

I've also realised that perhaps because of the architecture of the laptop, when the intel GPU is used at the same time the nvidia GPU drops at the second the recording with quicksync starts so the playing becomes choppy. So my best option remains to use Cuda for recording

Did you switch your active region? Default hotkey is F8.

Well, it shouldn't but sometimes it may happen, depends on your PC specification.

I have i7 3517u. How i could solve it ?

I want to be able to record in high quality but using nvidia and intel GPU at the same time seems to create GPU usage drops

pressing F8 doesn't change anything
