Multiple Sound channels?

Sun Apr 07, 2013 5:31 pm

I have sort of mentioned it already with the VAC question but this is more a question about now.

When I pulled in the file that's saved into vegas it game me no sound at all so no tracks to play with, the recording when watched in action has sound and I would like to be able to work with that file and its seperate tracks.
Rendering in action will give me sound but only one track to play with so is there any way to get the for example game sound on one track and my mic on another ?
While that's not perfect its better than having it all combined.

Do love the improvements so far btw but for my purposes I really need to be able to isolate separate tracks of audio and while I understand that you have plans for future releases i wondered if it was possible now to at least get the two separate tracks of mic and system sound?

On a completely separate question do you have a beta test program? I record lots of games for my YT channel and would be happy to test out beta features.

*edit* I just found that I had the wrong options set for my mic so that explains the lack of the second channel, I knew i had seen it before :( so disappointed lost great video because I didn't check the settings first :(

yeah i know I saw that it was just an issue with my settings that meant I didnt even have my mic in a separate track but that was my fault not the programs.

You can already do with Indievolume and Virtual Audio Cable. It's bit more complex, but it can work..
