Problem with Mirillis Action! and Windows 7 Aero?

Hi there!
I'm sorry if there's is a Thread like this already, but I think I don't get the search system of this forum ...but that's Offtopic.

So...

I wanted to record a Video from the old Game "Dungeon Keeper" and heard from another guy, that Mirillis is the Best Program to do so. So I bought the Program and tried to record the Game. The Guy told me that it is only possible to record the Game, when I switch the recording to active desktop. When I wanted to start to record the Program told me, that it is only able to record, when I turn Windows 7 Aero on. That I did, then tried to record again, and yet again the same Message keeps popping up:
(I try to translate the Message from German to English)

"Unable to record the Desktop. Please turn on Windows Aero to make the Desktoprecording possible."
("Desktopaufnahme ist nicht möglich. Bitte schalten Sie Windows Aero ein um die Desktopaufnahme zu ermöglichen.")

Sadly, the Guy, who told me to use Mirillis can't help me. We're both out of any good ideas. And that's why I got here. I hope someone can help me with my little problem.

Windows Aero is required for desktop recording (including Active Desktop Region). For games that are running on DirectX 8 or lower we are suggesting to use Active Desktop Region mode which works really good with these apps but it requires to start your game into Maximized Windowed mode.

Thanks for the help, but sadly the video is put on private. I can't watch it.

I will try to run the game in windowed mode, as soon as I figured out how to do so.

But, as I said, I did turn Windows 7 Aero.
In fact: It is on at the very moment.

But it really did help to turn the game into windowd Mode.
