Any update on the 1.14.0 version? Since there seem to be so many problems with the webcam feature.

that's really weird :

-did some video capture with 1.14 (same settings than with 1.13)
-tried to edit the raw video file in PowerDirector or just read it with windows media player, got a crash every time
-reinstalled 1.13, now i can use the file recorded in 1.14...

what's going on ??

What problems?
Quoting myself from page one
Nice features, its just still really weird that my Action doesn't actually detect a new version.

Edit: Was trying out the webcamera option for fun and Action doesn't seem to like it as it is crashing constantly. The webcamera I've got is a Logitech HD Webcam C270
and other people
my videos are unusable since this update !
every time i want to read them with any program it crashes after a few seconds !
I'm pressing record and I have the webcam enabled but nothing is showing up. I've tried the separate hotkey for it but still nothing. I've also got it set to "always record" The light comes on my webcam like it's being used but I don't get video in my recording. What am I doing wrong?
Does the Mirillis team not read comments after posting? ;)

I would also like this option. This way you could use your own editing tools with the output files. Is this a possibility?

I've just tried Action! but it doesn't record from webcam when record file format selected ".avi"
Only record "*.mp4" file type and this type has very low resolution 480p.

The webcam driver has to support RGB32 output format for webcam to work properly with Action 1.14.0. If you have custom filters installed in your system then strange things may happen. We recommend using original webcam drivers (decoder filters) for webcam support. If you have installed third party codec packs etc. then the RGB32 webcam output format might become unavailable. We will add RGB24 webcam output support in 1.14.1 ASAP - this might fix the problem with non-supported Webcam configurations.

Summarizing:
1. If you select webcam recording and select webcam device and do not see webcam in your recordings - try to install original webcam drivers and remove custom filters (like ffdshow for webcam decoding)
2. If Action! crashes after recording start with webcam recording enabled then you might be in the 0,001% population of having a webcam with drivers not properly outputing video image (we will try to make a fix for this ASAP)
3. If your recordings with webcam crash or do not work in Windows Media Player and other third party software... please let us know what do you see when playing this recording in Action! Player

We are going to release Action! 1.14.1 soon with webcam chroma/color keying support ASAP and we will do our best to fix the current webcam problems as well in 1.14.1 release so stay tuned and we will highly appreciate your help!

Can't even get to that point, as I said above, when I activate it with my webcamera it just crashes instantly and each time.
