Greetings
I recently got my new PC and installed Action! on it. But when I went to record some footage for my YouTube channel it wasnt showing up in game. After re-opening it five times and switching between settings and recording mode it finally worked, but then to my dismay when I tried to record the next day it didn't work

Changing the settings didn't work anymore and I still havn't got it working even though it worked on my old PC.
If anyone know the solution can you please let me know...

Cheers

it's great to see that you received zero help. I too have this same problem a couple of years after posted this. I finally gave up and started using Shadowplay. I wish I could get my money back. Before it quit showing up in game. It started dropping my frames more and more each new game session. first 40 something, then in the thirties, then twenties, till it started chugging at 14fps.
With Shadowplay, I get at or around 60fps on dayz with graphics maxed recording in 1080p. I have yet to find a downside. It has yet to bug out too.

Shadow play working well now?

Tried using it early on...

Might go back and give it another whirl since I've gotten only "send me" type help...

Still waiting on the download links from them so I can roll back to previous versions which did work...

Think I'll go with obs for live stream (Action cuts off randomly and won't reinitiate), and I'll try shadow play for recording....

shame got 1300+ vids on youtube with action....now I curse it.

Simply put, It is a problem between Action! and Battle Eye. Battle Eye reads Action! as a hack since the file that it uses to run is a .DLL file. Which is what most hack launchers use to hack games. Action says that Battle Eye refuses to fix it or let them run on DayZ. They even say that they gave them a way to run it but Battle Eye refuses to use it. At this point you would think, ok it's just on Battle Eye's end. But Action! is the only recording software that will NOT work. Meaning it is also a problem from Action! end. Only solution: Get a refund or use another program and lose tons of fps.

Action! Stopped caring about their customers apparently, since most of the people that purchased their product won't work for the main games they need to record. Shame.
