Hay,
i would like to record my mic into a seperate file but i dont find any way to achieve this.
I know there is a setting to record it into a seperate line but that is still the same (.avi-)file.
I need the microphone recording in a completely seperate file. (For example a .mp3 or .wma).
Is there any way to achieve this?
Thanks in advance,
Charlie Gray

You can hit your short cut key to start recording then immediately hit the short cut key to record audio as well that would work.
You could of course just export the audio only in editor though.

But the audio recording records the ingame sound as well.
I want two files:
One Videoclip with ingame Sound.
And one Audiofile only with my voice from the headset...

Why not just export it from within an editor like say vegas? I have no experience of others so i cant say for certain they can do it but I see no reason why they wouldnt.
In and editor you can delete your voice track too once youve exported it and you would then have your two files.
I have to ask why do you need two files?

I am using TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 5 and it seems like it can not seperate the two lines from one file
So i need two files to mix the volume of my voice and ingame sound afterwards...

Try using Virtual Dub. Here's a tutorial how to do it, it's in Polish but you will get the gig.
