Problem with sound

Hello,

I'm new to this forum but I hope there is a solution to my problem.

I have Mirillis Action! to record my video's and use Sony Vegas Pro for editting etc.
But my main problem is that I have no sound in my video's when opening them in Sony Vegas.
There is sound when I just want to watch the video, after recording, in Windows so Action! isn't the problem, I think.
Only when opening them in Sony Vegas there is no sound.

I know, and discovered, that when I don't use 'multi channel sound' in Action! there is sound in Sony Vegas, but I don't here my friends talking to me ingame.
Also in Windows, when only watching the recorded video, I can't here my friends ingame.
So, 'multi channel sound' is necesarry, I think!

I've set my setting in Action! to only my headset (Logitech G930).

To summon up:
- No sound in Vegas: enabled multi channel sound Action! but playing the video in Windows there's sound and mic.
- Sound in Vegas: disabled multi channel but I can't here my friends talking to me ingame, also in Windows.

I think Sony Vegas can't work with the 'multi channel' recording but what can I do?
Maybe it has only something to do with my setting or G930?

Does anyone have the same setup as me, so with the Logitech G930 and using Action! and Vegas?
Please help!

Yeah, I have problem with the sound too. Although it's only present in Sony Vegas (see the attachment). I can bypass it by using quicktime and convert the video into an audio file but that's kinda stupid and + work.

But I don't have the logitech headphones though!

Thanks for the reply.

I have no audio at all.
Only the video in Sony Vegas.

I've managed to do a workaround by using Virtualdub.
Virtualdub makes an Avi like you and then I import this Avi in Sony Vegas.
Then I have two videos and one audio file.
I delete the video file from Virtualdub (crappy resolution etc).

It's a solution but a lot of work and time.

Untick "Allow multi-channel audio recording" option in Action! recorder. Sony Vegas does not support files with multi-channel audio.

I already tried that, but then I can't hear my friends talking to me, in the recorded video...

I had this problem as well, and i could only find two solutions to this problem. This first of which is making multiple Audio busses and assigning each to a specific track. But instead, i didn't feel like doing that so i tried to find an easier way so i experimented with it a bit. I found that it was my headphone settings. I had my headphones set to either a 5.1 or 7.1 surround mode. So in my sound settings i switched from 5.1/7.1 surround mode to stereo. and now all audio comes in just fine for me. if this doesn't help you, turn your headphone audio to mono and see how that works out, cheers.
