Recording: Different SATA controllers / Improved performance

Thu May 23, 2013 2:12 pm

Hey,

i am actually curious if anyone tested to connect the HDD do a different SATA controller then the one where your game is installed on. In my case i am playing battlefield3 and recording the footage. When i try to record in 60fps i am getting heavy stuttering and i would like to get rid of that anyhow. Anyone with ideas how to get it perform well?

Best regards,

Many gameplayers that are recording their footage use two hard drives. One HDD where the game is installed and second (usually SSD) where they record their videos.
