Hi there,
before the last 2 updates I had no issues recording Audio on my videos, now I have loads of issues :/

I have an Asus Xonar and I have disabled ALL none used speaker configs in Audio Settings so the only ones that show in Action are (4-Asus Xonar) and the DEFAULT - if I record in normal mode its ok, but as soon as I go full screen I lose Audio on the recordings - this is most obvious while using the Steam App

Can you please help?

Do you use any special effects on your Asus Xonar?

There's always something wrong with the Xonars... Is it possible that you could upload a screenshot of your Xonar panel?

You cant just blame the sound card when it worked great when I first bought the app, nothing in my system has changed. The app has had 2 updates since, I went a couple of weeks without using it and now it wont record audio in full screen.
If I run media player it will record the audio, but if I run Steam for example, in full screen the audio is missing.

ok, I have sat here and gone through all configs with the settings, if I drop my speakers to 5.1 it records audio fine, so seems to be a compatibility issue between 7.1 and Action!

This is my current set up and Action! records - so until you can resolve it (hopefully you can) I will have to alter my settings to 5.1 surround.

Is your listening device tied to a different DAC or Amp? If not, you don't need SPDIF Out on. That's only necessary if you're... you know... using an SPDIF interface.

Also, Analog Out represents the amount of channels your listening device has. If you have an ACTUAL 5.1 setup with speakers, that's fine. If you're using stereo headphones, you should be using Headphone mode.

Audio Channel represents what goes in. For example, to utilize Dolby, it requires more input channels. As such, increase the audio channels accordingly.

From what I see, you're UPMIXING sound, which can't be very good, and maybe that's your problem! :x

Yes, it is linked to a 7.1 Amp, so less of the sarcasm would be appreciated because, you know, I AM using an SPDIF interface!

Isn't this a bit obvious? It has ALWAYS been set to 7.1 because my amp is 7.1 but now I have to drop it to 5.1 to record through Action! - I am not sure what has changed other than the software.

The whole point of me buying a DTS/7.1 card is top UPSCALE 2 channel and 5.1 audio to 7.1 as very little is actually recorded in 7.1 - I don't see why upscaling the audio is my problem when Action records in normal screen mode but not in FULL SCREEN? The audio drivers do not change when I switch to full screen.

I did try to upload an MP4 of my screen as it flicks to FULL SCREEN and Action! stops recording audio
It's a bit odd :/
