Sound is gone.

I have been using the trial version of Action! and whenever I would record, the sound would be there and perfect. Recently, my headphones have been giving out on the sound. Now whenever I record, it doesn't capture the sound. Are the headphones the reason of it messing up?

How are your headphones connected to your PC? Is any sound picked up?

My headphones are connected via USB and sound port. Sound is picked up but I have to mess with the wire.

It may be related to the USB headphones. Do you have any possibility to try other sound device like speakers or different headphones plugged via line-in and mic-in?

Yes, I have just tried that. Turns out because of my headphones losing sound, Action! stopped recognizing those headphones. I am now able to record the sound. Thanks for the help.
