Drop rate problem when recording.

Mon Jul 01, 2013 10:34 pm

Hi,
I am having lagging problems when recording Skyrim and also at certain times when I record Battlefield 3.

My computer specs:
Windows 8
Intel Core i7-3770S CPU@3.10GHz
Ram 16gb 1600MHz DDR3
NVIDIA Geforce GT 650m

Also here is a link to a video that shows this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Do you record to the same hard drive where your game is located? Have you tried lowering your Video Size to for example 480p and see if your drops still occurs?

This did solve my problem, thank you. Unfortunately I will have to invest in a better graphic card so I can record higher quality :(

That means your hard drive cannot keep up with reading and writing needed data. You should try recording into separate hard drive if you have such possibility.
