How To Split Recordings Into Segments WHILE Recording?

While recording I'd like it to automatically create a new file for a time specified. Like every 5 minutes a new file will be created for that 5 minutes. I know Fraps has the option to do this. So let's say you record for 30 minutes with a 5 minute interval. You would have 6 5 minute videos all making up for that 30 minutes. Sorry if it's confusing. Is there an option to do this? It would be great and make editing a lot easier. I do see the option if you export to YouTube, but I don't want to upload it to YouTube without editing it. Thanks!
