Big performance drop

Hi, not sure if it's something I've missed along the way.
Action great software, running bf3 @ 1080 gave constant smooth 60fps
that was on 1 x 7950
I now have 2 running in crossfire
my bf3 framerates have risen from 92 to around 130fps
but recording in action has taken a big hit, dropping as low as 32fps and averaging around 54
any ideas anyone?

It's probably related to your crossfire card. Could you check if you use one card only you also get drops?

with 1 card no drops, just a lower framerate when not recording.
there must be a workaround for this as its a pain having to power down remove a card to record then reverse when not wanting to record

did you try and check other recording settings to see if the results are different?
btw how did you get 92 fps?
i assume that your are playing on ultra.
how can you get that amount of fps from that card?
somethimes i gow below 50 when playing on 1920X1080 on ultra settings.

I'm running:
I7 2600k @ 4.3ghz
16gb ram
2 x 7950 xfire
yes ultra settings, but I lower the AA, "jaggies" arent a helluva problem @ 1920x1080, not like they used to be back in the 1024 x768 days
