Hello,

I recently bought the full version of Action! and was looking forward to the webcam feature it had to offer. But to my sadness, When I selected my webcam and selected always record, It did not show the recorded webcam in the video. The light on the webcam was on, Indicating that it is being used, but the video never showed up. When I selected preview in the webcam options, It showed up just fine there. I followed the tutorials on the website but no matter what I tried it did not work! The webcam is working great in every other program I have but just Action! Any help is very welcomed

Does it work with MP4?

Yes it does but it is very low res and would like to use avi. Any way around it?

Try this:

1. Uninstall Action!
2. Press Start and then type "Regedit" in search and press Enter.
2. Go to the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Mirillis/
3. Remove Action! catalog.
4. Reboot your PC.
5. Do not run any additional applications. Turn off all aplications that may use video codecs (example: Windows Media Player).
6. Install Action! again. Make sure that your installer file comes from official website - www.mirillis.com.

I followed the steps and it worked, but the next day it went vback to having the issue. how to i keep the webcam working without constantly uninstalling Action?

If the issue is reoccurring then I suspect there is something wrong webcam/system configuration than Action.

The issue was caused by the curser present during recording feature. in the settings, if its turned off then the webcam will not work properly. if it is turned on (curser will be shown during recording) then the webcam will work properly. (Refer to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7aNeOptGhs) this video showed me how to fix it so yea easy step to take. so yea. hope that helps.

me too, i have tried this methode but somtime work and not work,

delete local temp dan windows temp file
uninstall mirillis
delete mirillis registry data
delete all about mirillis in drive c
retsart pc then :
re install ivicam
re install mirillis

start ivcam after connected between mobile and ivcam on pc then start mirillis

open setting privacy and camera set t oallow app using camera
service windows camera set to stop
and the problem was fixed

but the problem happen again :v

and i tried the above metode and its not worked anymore idk why ?? hahha

i tried fresh OS windows 10 installation many time and not work too
