Trial Recording Issues

I have the trial of mirillis action. So far, I like it better than fraps and dxtory (and as such am trying to resolve my problems with it before i purchase)

Anyway, one major problem. I cant record game or microphone sound. If this is just a feature of the trial, please tell me. I have tried recording gmod (source based game) and can not get any audio to record. Again, please tell me if this is a legitimate issue or if the demo just doesnt record audio.
