Crash after new Update and corrupted clips

Thu Aug 15, 2013 8:55 am

I'm really disappointed right now, I've had issues with the HUD crashing minecraft, and got used to doing the work around of disabling the HUD... This was not a major issue, the thing is after the patch I did a week ago or so, some clips just never start recording, meaning they start but get corrupted or something (and I have no form of knowing till I "stop" the recording) for someone who is doing a minecraft series loosing an episode isn't too bad, but loosing 3 hours of footage over the same problem three times in a week is really bad.

Besides this issue with the recordings, after this weeks update, the application just stopped working. I open it and it crashes right away.

I'm seriously considering asking for a refund I don;t want to waste more time trying to fix issues that shouldn't exist in software that is not in BETA state and more so that I PAID FOR.

My machine specs are:

MSI Mpower Z77 MOBO
16gb RAM
i7 3770k
660ti
Running Win 7

Action! is not in beta phase. If you paid for it and experience any problem I would strongly recommend to contact our support team via support@mirillis.com.

I know its not in BETA (sure acts like it is though...)
Did pay for it (regretting it now..)
Support just answered, to move output files to another location.. Will try that... the thing is: Action crashes after the splash (loading screen) meaning, I can't change any settings within the program itself.

I renamed the old output folder, so when Action started it created another output folder on the same destination, this seems to have solved the crash of the program for now...

The crashing problem was caused because of your corrupted file for which Action! probably was not able to create a thumbnail.
