recording at 2x speed problem

I have just purchased action recorder,
I have trouble recording, if I record 30 mins, the video is only 15mins long and going fast paced, like somehow i recorded in "speedy" mode, can you give me some instructions to make this work right?

intel i7 3.20Ghz
12g ram
ATI Radeon HD5700 with crossfireX on
