Recording issues, dropped frames, No sound?

I got the trial of Action! to test it out and on EVERY game I try, it doesn't record properly.

I have tried AVI, which just makes aloud buzzing noise and no video, and MP4, which does this:

I have no idea why this is happening and it does it on everything.

Are there some setting I am missing?

I am on Windows 8, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.4GHz and an ATI Mobility Radeon 2600 XT Graphics card.

Help?

Fraps works flawlessly.
