Audio lag

Tue Sep 10, 2013 6:18 pm

Need some help... ok, so I've been having some issues with my audio being in sync. I'm doing a video walkthrough of Outlast w/facecam and for some reason my audio lags slightly. The strange part is that my audio recorded from my mic is right on cue but the game audio is behind about 3 - 4 seconds, sometimes more... you can watch the video(s) on my youtube channel to see what I mean... http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgV9RX6 ... sp-in-feed

All videos were recorded with Action! at 30FPS
My system specs: Windows 7 64bit SP1, Core I7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz, 6.0Gigs RAM, ATI Radeon HD 5770 in crossfire (meaning I have 2)

Any help or advice would be greatly apreciated =)

Do you use any external software to record audio?

No, I just use "Action!" to record it all.

I've been having this issue as well. I record my commentary and video game (audio and visual) at the same time. It's much easier this way. I record at 720p at 30fps. I have my Microphone set to "Always Record" and have it set to put my commentary into a seperate audio track within the AVI file. I am constantly having to re-sync my game audio, but the commentary seems to be fine. From what I've seen, turning your microphone setting to "Off" prevents this problem, but then you have to record your commentary to a different file, possibly with a different program, and then sync that to the game footage (which defeats the purpose of fixing the game audio cause you still have a file to sync, now it's just separate). Thought I'd put my settings in here, maybe this'll help sort out the problem. :)

I'm getting exactly the same issue. Game audio lags, mic is in sync.
