Why is Mirillis Action! skipping when recording?

Thu Sep 19, 2013 9:34 pm

For some reason whenever I record something, Mirillis Action! turns it into a timelapse, or makes the video go faster than it normally should. Also when I'm in-game, when I move my mouse around, it skips, not laggy, but seems like it. I tried recording with different file types but its still the same problem. Also whenever I record me doing something, like jumping in minecraft, or shooting a rocket in TF2, it skips a little bit. Making it very noticeable... Help?

But basically when I record something, like for example the TF2 thing again, everytime I shoot a rocket or a shotgun the video skips it and makes everything really fast.

My bitrate is 70-80. I don't know if thats good but its what it is.

got the same problem.

Every recording has skipped scenes and the sound (recorded from my mic) are cutted off for 1-2 sec.

I record my Microphon with the option " record sound into seperate file "

Settings are 1080p with 30 fps in AVI

same problem here as well i record both a video file and an audio file, started them at the same time and ended at the same time and the video file appears to be fine but the audio file is about 5 seconds shorter making the audio not sync with the video about halfway through.

The same problem here, i was making a playthrough of Shadow Warrior an suddenly the game skips, that ruins the game's audio and the microphone, some problems with the audio also, it sounds kind of laggy, is anybody responding for this?.

PD: The software is great by the way, but this flaw is driving me nuts.

What settings do you use to record your footage?

I have a secondary HDD, tested, sometimes it skips, sometimes not, the problem is that the software isn't trustworthy since I missed (recording) alot of good plays while playing Fifa 14.
