Frame Rate locking in games

Is there any way to disable frame rate locking in game mode?

When I set the recording frame rate to 30FPS, Action! lowers the overall framerate in games to 30FPS, which is annoying.

In FRAPS there is an option called "Lock framerate while recording", which can be unchecked and you will have your usual FPS in games while recording in desired framerate for video.

Yeah, I have had that also.

Not too sure if disabling vsync would remedy the problem, but I think that it should definitely have that feature that fraps has.

Action! should not lock framerate or lower it any way.
Do you experience this problem with all games or only with some titles?

I experience it with all of the games i have tried.It always locks the the games frame rate to the recording frame rate.
edit: its not always locking but rather forcing the game to play on that specific fps,its annoying when i can play on 100fps and its forces to 60 or to 30 fps and with an explosin its goes down to 15-25, where without recording it will be normal.

with action! 1.6.1 it still locks my frame rate during recording to the recording frame rate,
edit1: i will test it to be sure.
edit2:its didnt locks the frame rate only show the recording frame rate very confusing need an update i think, the acual frameratieis dropped a little bit, tested it with action+fraps for frame rate display.
