Upgrade MP4 to 1080p/Original

Mon Dec 02, 2013 3:28 pm

This is just something i wanted to ask about the MP4 format. Are you planning to upgrade resolution to 1080p or even Original with it? It would be awesome. And if i'm not mistaking, i think mine uses CUDA for encoding. I use Bandicam also and with its own hardware acceleration it says CUDA (my GPU is from Nvidia). Another reason is for smaller sizes. ;)

you will get lost more speed using your Intel Quick Sync, cuda is muts slower than your onchip intel gfx for rendering.

cuda and Intel Quick Sync help the cpu render the video and it works ok in this program.

here is woh to setup Intel Quick Sync

mp4 1080p works only if you have Intel Quick Sync

I don't think i can do that on my laptop (yes, i'm on a laptop). However, my onboard GPU is an Intel HD gfx card (not talking about my GTX).

Okay i have a new question: If Action already supports CUDA for video encoding, how do i enable it? When i go to Export settings, i see CUDA there and Intel Quick Sync which i enabled via Nvidia control panel. But when i go to Video recording tab, my only options are AVI,and two MP4's from which the other one is with Intel Quick Sync.

So my question is, is the MP4 that's limited to 720p the one with CUDA acceleration? If not, can you add it? IQS works beautifully but it's nowhere near as good as CUDA in terms of quality. And i don't care if it impacts more, my videos have virtually no lag in them.

Btw, how's the development of Action! going? There hasn't been a new Action! in over two months so i'm assuming you're doing some major tweaks/optimizations on it. ;)

Mine does not have that option.

And the action is not identifying, so I can not use .mp4 in original or 1080p. Help me please.
