Facecam option incompatible with AVI

Is the facecam/webcam option incompatible with the .AVI format in Action! version 1.16.3.0? I can only seem to get it to work with .MP4, which greatly degrades the quality. Any ideas or is it a confirmed bug/just not possible?

Important Specs:

Webcam: Logitech C615
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K
GPU: ASUS GeForce® GTX 780 DirectCU II
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

Try reinstalling Action! with registry cleaning. Reboot your PC before installing Action again. Make sure that there is no video app running while you are installing Action.

Alright, after uninstalling Action! and removing any related folders, then doing a registry cleaning and restarting my computer, I re-installed it with no programs open but the installer, and still no luck. When I begin the .AVI recording, my webcam turns on, but does not show up in the video clip. It works in the preview, but not in the actual video. I have tried each video recording mode (game mode with multiple games, screen, region), but still haven't had any luck. Any ideas?

After doing some more research, I found that you need to enable "record mouse cursor" for the webcam to work with AVI.
