TeamViewer + Action = Problems

Wed Feb 12, 2014 5:57 am

Okay so this problem has been on going since 1.16
When I have someone try and connect to my PC via TeamViewer and Action is running it doesn't let the user connect. It just closes. Same if I try and connect to them and they have action running. This is a problem with Action because when I close Action the user can connect to my PC via TeamViwer with no problems. Keep in mind Action is NOT recording during this. It is just idle.
I hope this can be fixed ASAP.

Teamviewer disable DESKTOP COMPOSITION when access the computer. Because this Action not work.

Its not Action! fault.

Okay I think I disabled it and the same problem still happens.
Every time I try and connect to my PC via TeamViewer and Action is open it won't let me. When I close action it lets me. I want to TeamViewer while it is open.

I hope something can be done because it seems like a lot of threads just get ignored.

May I ask why you wish to use both at the same time? I may be able to assist you, I will install team viewer and see if I can replicate the problem.

I concur, my TeamViewer connection fails whil Action! is running even with the graphical settings set to quality, which doesn't disable the desktop composition. It even fails to connect just for chat or file transfers...

I have Action! running all the time. It runs 24/7 as long as my PC is on. I use TeamViewer to connect to my PC when I am away from it for multiple reasons. When you try and connect to a PC via TeamViewer and if the PC has Action! running it will not let you connect. It is really annoying.
