More unacceptable issues...

It's been a couple of weeks since my last post...when I attempted to record for 20 minutes, and ended up with a 2 minute video. Last night, I saw the update to 1.17.4 and decided to try again.

I made a 30 MINUTE test recording. I recorded skype, gameplay, everything went just fine. The video plays back fine. I felt great! So...I got started on a real recording. I recorded for 33 minutes. Now when I was done, I backed out and saw the video file. 16GB, 33 minutes long. Oh happy day!

But...when I tried to open the file I found out the file was corrupted. None of the video players I use would play it. They all crashed. When attempting to play the video with Action!, I was able to watch 20 seconds before the picture got all jagged and distorted. See the attached image.

I have already emailed your support staff with the issue, I am simply putting this here so people who do their research find out that this software is not in a state that warrants the $30 price tag. BUYER BEWARE.

Looks like a graphic issue. Do you have latest drivers for your card?

I do. I recorded a 30 minute test video right before I recorded the video in question. It was fine. In my opinion, the issue happened during rendering. Somehow the video became corrupted.

Have you contacted our support team? Could you provide them a video sample where this issue occurs?

I emailed your support team, sent them my DxDiag, and haven't heard back from them. The video file was far too large to send, and it would crash whatever video editor I loaded it into, so I couldn't edit the length.

All you have to do is right click on the file and click export. Then select these options:

Output profile: 720p (High Profile)
Video Quality: High, (your resolution here)

Then just click start, when it is done exporting, go to the folder your exports are stored in and you should find an open-able file (as a mp4 format)

Hope I helped :)

I sadly have to agree with grimlp.

I've recorded 1h movie from BF4 and the sound is completely out of sync.

I've trided with 1.16.3 and 1.17.4 and still the same issue.

BF4 was released more than 3 months ago and this is still not fixed.

Taking into consideration the fact that Action can also corrupt the movie I think we can safely say that this software is completely unusable.
