Hello everyone,
I'm new to Action! (only purchased it last week) and I seem to have come across an audio bug. It doesn't happen every time but when it does, it's quite frustrating. The problem I seem to be having is that when I record the clip it is fine and from Actions!'s media player I can view it perfectly with audio. Even when I view it with VLC everything works. The problem occurs when I go to edit it in Sony Vegas as only half the clip's audio is heard then it goes silent. As you can see in the picture as soon as the clip passes half way the audio is lost. This happen no matter how long the clip is. The audio cuts off directly in the middle http://imgur.com/ah0iGOw. Any help would be much appreciated.

Does this occurs with MP4 files?

There is another way I found it out a few days ago if you click Allow multi-channel audio recording it fixes your audio ALOT so if you have audio issues just click that.

I'm getting this too when I record with mp4 ( AMD APP) AVI works fine though..

When I play back the mp4 video in media player I can hear all the audio but when I transfer the video to Sony Vegas it only has half the clip's audio..

Hi guys! Is there a work around for this problem? At present I can't record with mp4 ( AMD APP) as only half the clip's audio works with Sony Vegas..

Hey everyone! I've been having this problem too recently, and testing out some of the settings I think I may have found a fix. So, for me turning off the AMD extension did nothing, even though I have a AMD R9 390. Turning on that feature really did help but turning it off did not fix my problem. Then I found that some combination of the settings:
- MP4 recording On
- Multi-Channel Audio On
- And the AMD extension On.
Causes the audio while watching the video in Sony Vegas to be lost at halfway through a clip, and through Windows Media Player you cant hear the audio at all!

So, my main fix was to simply to go to AVI recording, but if you HAVE to use MP4, experiment turning on and off any extensions like the AMD one and multi-channel audio!
