After reinstalling 17.3 and 17.4 back and forth on top of each other a few times in order for me to get a better picture for what was happening to maybe provide better feedback, 17.4 began miraculously "recognizing" WoW when playing with DX11 and using game recording mode -- The Action HUD appeared and began showing that the game was running DX11. However, the moment I pressed record on Action, both the game and the program crashed. Action gave the following crash report:

I'm not sure if that's helpful, but ever since the crash happened, I've been able to flawlessly launch Action v17.4 (when Aero is enabled w/o an
apu2enc.dll crash)
and record WoW in DX11 using any capture mode. I fear what might happen when I need to restart my machine.
